Use Popular Minted Art to Inspire Your Next Room Design! One of my favorite things about designing is being able to play with colors. Today I want to show you how you can build a room around the colors in a painting. I will take one of my favorite paintings below (Peonies in a Vase) and design a room with those colors. I picked out the main colors in the first two paintings below as well, so you can see the colors separated from the painting.
Minted is one my favorite art sources because they highlight modern artists that are using colors that resonate well with many. Most of their art will be a beautiful addition to your home decor. The paintings I have highlighted are mostly abstract, floral or landscape. Blue and White is always a winner!
This could be the scheme of a really cool boho/eclectic room.
I am a sucker for pinks and blushes. In this painting you hav some wiggle room with some tans too, which is an easy neutral color to work with.
More Blue and White…are you noticing I like this color palette?

Blacks and whites are always beautiful. Here is another black and white that is classic and could complement many types of rooms.

A very pretty feminine color palette. A little girl’s shared or single room would be beautiful with these colors.

Check out all the colors that you cold work with by simply choosing a piece of art that speaks to you. That is a lot of throw pillows. ๐

A travel theme mixed with pale pinks, blues and greens would be stunning.
