Brooklyn has entered the phase where she is unsettled until everything that is in its place is emptied and spread across all clean surfaces. I am one part amused and glad that she is occupied, and one part irritated and exhausted because I am having a hard time keeping up with the messes. I could easily spend the majority of my day following her around like a robot, picking up the whirlwind left in her wake. I am trying to ask her to put things away, but the challenge is that it takes a really long time for her. I want my little ones to grow up used to the idea that keeping our home tidy is everyone’s responsibility and to notice that cleaning up is a way to enjoy more peace and joy, but, boy oh boy, it is not for the faint-hearted.
With this challenge in mind, I have rounded up organization books that come highly recommended to me. If you click on the images below, it will send you to the book on Thriftbooks or Amazon. I am excited to learn more about how to improve my home organization and, in turn, my mind and family. I hope you will join me in my quest to keep learning and creating a peaceful home.
Best,
Lucy Jo
