A master bathroom makeover is LONG overdue at our house. I love a challenge and this one #100roomchallenge is going to stretch my DIY skills. My master bathroom has been a major pain ever since we bought the house. The major problems of the bathroom is that it is super small, has very little functional storage, terrible flooring and has very dated features.
Here are the before pictures.
My plans for the bathroom are to address all of these problems. Here are the list of projects that will solve the issues in my bathroom.
I think that with all of these things I will hit about $100, but I think the impact will be huge! I am so excited to see what I can do.
In the image below you can see the leaning shelf that I would like to add for storage above the toilet. Cody, my husband is going to make it out of metal and wood that we already have. Next to the shelving potential linoleum flooring that I am considering, but I may go black considering my inspiration pictures. Another image shows the simple framing of the mirror. Again, we have all the materials for that too. I will add some new glass to the existing light and the rest of the images show storage ideas so my bathroom actually functions properly.
Now here is the inspiration picture that I love for this bathroom. It will not look exactly like this obviously, but I love the look and feeling of this bathroom, especially the black and white elements.
I will be documenting the process of the master bathroom makeover on my blog and on Instagram, so I hope you will follow along and check out the other participants of the challenge too. Let me know if you have any questions!
That inspiration photo!!! I love it!!! This space is going to be absolutely amazing! I am so excited to have you joining the challenge this month.
