I have had many people offer kind words about our living room renovation. People usually express how much they love it and then ask where a certain piece of furniture or lighting is from. I hope that this list of sources will help you to create your own happy place in your home. If you would like to see more of the renovation process check out How to Make Custom DIY Built-in Shelves and Spray Painting our Living Room. There is also another post with sources for smaller decor items and art in this post.
Furniture:
I love our sofa. I did a lot of research before we landed with this one. We have three small children, so we went with a leather sofa because it is durable and still looks good over time. We have set boundaries for the kids to keep it as nice as possible. For the time we have had it, it has been comfortable and beautiful.
Cody only had a few requests and one of them was for reclining chairs. Because I am not a big fan of overstuffed recliners, I found these beautiful light gray chairs that recline and look modern in the space. If you have a husband that loves to recline, these are a nice compromise.
I fell in love with this table because it is unique. The legs look like arrows and the top is glass. It is classy and makes a statement, in my opinion. Cody grew up collecting arrowheads in the dessert, so I knew he would love it too.
This is a farmhouse style coffee table and the wood and metal mix is a favorite of mine. It was easy to put together and looks wonderful in our space.
I was eye-balling this desk for a long time. Julia from Christ Loves Julia blog have this desk and I loved that it occupied a small space, functioned well and looks super stylish and modern. I love it.
This chair is versatile. Because it is see-through, it is perfect to style and is comfortable to boot.
This rug was not a hit at first, but after it was placed and I let it sit for a day, I was hooked. I love how it brightens the room and yet adds pattern to the room.
Lighting:
I love the simple style of this light. It is a great size and doesn’t overwhelm a room with low ceiling.
This is a favorite of mine. It is perfect task lighting in this space and looks classy.
Since our living room does not have a ton of overhead lighting, I chose another task light for the desk area. This lamp gets used a lot since the desk is a work area.
