Hello Friend!
The last few weeks have been a sleep-deprived, slow blur. Outside of working on Jane’s room, I have spent my time holding my new baby, laying in my bed sleeping or resting somewhere around the house, shopping online and spending too much time on my phone while I am breastfeeding. Our new baby girl has been so good about eating and sleeping. She does have a very loud cry, but she does not cry very often. She is the smallest of our babies and I am so glad she is here safe. I have written about her birth, but it is not ready to share yet.

Here are my Friend to Friend Highlights:
We bought a new dining table and chairs. I got the chairs from Overstock.com and I got the dining table from Article. The chairs are sturdy and already arrived at our house. The table is solid wood and can seat up to 12 people, which was a big deal for me since my family alone needs seven seats. I did a lot of research and I felt really good about my purchases.
Cody is still home on paternity leave! This is huge, and I have to admit I have major anxiety about him going back to work and leaving me with five children. The hardest thing has been taking care of my one year old boy while I am also taking care of a newborn.
We got Jane’s room painted and ready to stencil the feature wall in her room. We are using a stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils. I also picked out the color that we are going to stencil with or at least I got it down to two. They are both blues from the Benjamin Moore line. Here is a post on how I choose interior paint colors.
Cody’s parents are going to be able to come to visit us soon, and while Cody is still home.
Spring Break starts today for the kids! We plan to take a fun day trip sometime during the week.
Easter is around the corner and I love to teach the kids about Jesus’s life and resurrection. Christ-centered ideas here and here.
I was also able to get some fun things for their Easter baskets (books, games, art stuff and candy) and some super cute dresses and a suit for Beau.
Happy Friday…and I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!
