A Little Better than Yesterday This weekend was a gathering event (General Conference) for my church. I enjoy this time because it is a time of reflection and goal-making for me. I, unfortunately, need regular reminders about how I can be better. I receive personal impressions as I listen to the leaders of my church offer wisdom through the scriptures and through their experiences.

The quote above is poignant for me because it is a way for me to feel like I can be patient with myself while still expecting good things to come. I am grateful that I am loved and known and even more grateful that God sees more potential in me than I can’t see many times.
