Today it is snowing. The snow is so beautiful to look at until we have to step on it or drive on it. It has felt a lot like Christmas as well. We watched Elf and felt like listening to Christmas music already. That is probably one of the only things I like about Christmas here…the snow makes it feel more authentic. We are counting down the days until we can see our families as well. Lately, I have noticed what a sucker I am during the holidays when it comes to the shopping sales. I may or may not need something, but I always have the itch to buy while it is on sale. I am a retailer’s dream come true, but I have controlled myself!
Last night we had a “salsa” party. We made salsa (which turned out delicious) and turned on some Latin music and salsa danced. (I am not actually sure if we were salsa dancing, but it fit the theme of our party.) Jane was grinning and laughing as Cody twirled us. I guess this is what a party is like when there is just you and your eight month old daughter. Jane has been feeling better and as a result so have Cody and I.
I have a few pictures of Jane in her first snow…
